Meatballs

Meatballs..meatballs..once a month I will have this craving for meaty juicy meatballs...dripping with sauce! Where do you get meatballs here in Nilai..either to Secret Recipe or to a lesser degree at Pizza Hut (the last resort). When the mood strike I will head over to the supermarket and search for minced meat or fresh meat, then once at home will transform them into my kind of meatballs.Lots of meat and baked in the oven..and I can add anything i like to these. usually I will baked a large quantit and freezed them in containers, ready to be taken out and dressed either into spagethi meals or drenched with sauce.
Well, here's one of my fave recipe for meatballs , sourced from AllRecipes.com.

Ingredients

600 g ground beef
3/4 cups dry bread crumbs
1/2 can cream of mushroom soup
2 eggs, lightly beaten
2 tablespoon mustard
1 big onion -cubed
1 green bell pepper
italian herbs, salt & pepper to taste
some grated cheese (if you wish)

DIRECTIONS
Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line two baking sheets with aluminum foil and lightly grease.
Mix together the ground beef, bread crumbs, cream of mushroom soup, eggs, cheese, onion and all the herbs. Shape the mixture into balls about the size of a golf ball. Arrange on the prepared baking sheets.
Bake in the preheated oven until no longer pink in the center, about 30 minutes.
You can also fry these babies in oil, for that extra crunchy taste.
