Light Lemon Poppy Seed Cake

My fave piece of heaven,...one fine evening.. Nyum....nyummmm... a half eaten piece of mine..no sharing please ! There are countless of recipes for this particular cake in the recipe  section of the internet. Well, this is my version, which you can either prepared with or without the lemon syrup ( for the extra sour kick to your tastebud) Ingredients 1 cup of caster sugar 250g butter 2 1/4 cups of flour 2 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon soda bicarbonate 3/4 cup of buttermilk ( i subs with 3/4 cup milk + 2tbs lemon juice and let rest for 15 minutes before use) 6 eggs (medium size) 2 teaspoon lemon oil 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon zest 3  tablespoons poppy seeds lemon syrup 1/2 cup white sugar 3/4 cup lemon juice Directions 1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour the baking pan. Soalan cepu-emas di keluaeran kali ini "siapakah budak comel diatas"...hahah..jgn mak dier marah aku ambik anak dier buuat model tuna burger sudah ler... jawapn nyer..itu adalah Nurul Iman, anak ateh aku yang bongsu, kena paksa  posing dengan tuna burger itu..sampai senget2 mulut dah , tunggu induk snap gambar yer... Al-kisah nyer aku nampak 2 tin tuna ayam brand tuh dah berape lama terkonteng2 dalam almari tuh, jadi aku oun buat dua projek nak menghabiskan stok nih. Nih yer lah projek aku yang pertama...projek yang kedua..pu n dah selamat berjalan..tapi akakn dipamerkan disini di keluaran akan datang yer.. Jom layan resepi untuk tuna patties atau tunna burger ini.. ala2 burger versi veggei lah kot... EHS Appreciation Dinner at PULLMAN PUTRAJAYA

umaat lepas ader makan malam untuk AJK EHS di The Village by the Lake, Pullman Hotel, Putrajaya. Restoren tuh dibuat atas air tepi tasik dan pemandangan yang sungguh indah dan mengasyikkan, ala2 over vea lah plak. Dinner dibuat alas BBQ buffet, not bad lah jugak. The company was great and the also the games..sakit perut gelak.Dapat gift pen Sheffear jugak. Thank you boss... pemandangan restoren dari tangga, very rustic looking pemandangan walkway ke restoren..ada gaya, with wooden planks ,beams and thatched roof . Seating arrangement, very stylish i like.. ambik gambar syok sendiri, tepilah tasik. creamy pasta..+ satay + BBQ chicken thighs the sinfully rich creamcheese topped walnut brownies nasi goreng with ketam & half a BBQ lobster.. a slice of the birthday cakes, a tad too sweet.. tapi tetap sedap dan interesting colour combination kita orang duk  cubicle2 sebelah kat opis, with Jay some of the EHS comittee members.. Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Been craving for something meaty and fullfilling at the same time. Search for a simple recipe at Allrecipes and came across this one. A sure winner for me, at least. This recipe will yield a huge loaf, so if you are a small eater better halved the recipe. I stech mine for a couple of days, including making the meatloaf into burgers. Or you can also make these into individual servings by baking in a muffin pan . The topping of brown sugar and ketchup might sound a bit weird but it is delicious, give it a try. Since I thought the original recipe is a bit bland for my Malay taste, i added some spices and onions and some veggies too.Definitely, the best comfort food at the moment . Kek Kukus Alwani

Sekarang ader lah sedikit kerajinan nak memasak kek2 nih balik alhamdullilah, itu pun setelah sekian lama dalam hiayus state, atas sebab2 yang tidak dapat dielakkan. Buat kek nih masa jamuan makan kat rumah abang di Salak. Mak kata kek lapis2 nih memang menyeksa diri, aper tak neyr kena tunggu satu2 nak melapis nyer baru boleh buat kerja lain. Tapi sebab sedap kan dan tekak sendiri yang nak makan kena lah jugak merajinkan diri. masa kukus kek nih memang ader letak kaler merah, tapi ntah cam maner kaler merah tuh bertukar cam oren or coklat..ish ishhh..hilang sket seri kek ku ini. Saja buat 11/2 adunan sebab nak ader lebih nak buat kek kukus comel cam kat bawah tuh..letak oreo ... mari lah sama2 layan mata ..rasa resepi nih dari MYR lah jugak seperti biasa. terima kasih yer kawan2 penyumbang resepi asal. Thrillers, Adventures & Actions--My Other passion

Last night was doing some spring cleaning in the bedroom and to my surprise it seemed that I have quite a collection of books in every nook and cranny of the rooms even under the bed..hmmmmmm... infact these are only some of my storybooks/ novels collection . Some which I have amassed over the years have been put into boxes and stored away. I got couple of boxes already and I think close to 150 books... maybe someday i might donate it somewhere. As you can figure from the pictures most of the books that i read is the thrillers and action packed ones, with few of others genre. At the moment I am hooked to Clive Clussler novels, and it happened by chance when I was browsing at Book Access at AMcorp Mall in PJ (where they are selling these books and almost unbelievably low prices), and came across these selection of books. However my all times fave would be matthey Riley and james Rollins , theirs stories is the ultimate for action seeker readers like me. So, when I am in no mood to roc

Bahan-bahan : 250 g Tepung naik sendiri 200 g gula kastor 6 biji telur 1 camb ovellate 1 camt baking pawder 2 camb susu pekat 50 g air 175 g butter - cairkan coklat/pandan emulco Cara  Penyediaan : Pukul semua bahan kecuali butter cair dan emulco hingga pekat dan kuantitinya menjadi double. Masukkan butter cair dan kacau adunan sebati. Bahagikan adunan kepada dua bahagian. satu bahagian letakkan emulco pandan dan satu lagi emulco coklat. Tuang adunan  pandan  dalam loyang.
