Makan makan di @grill BBBangi

Makan malam ala2 western mulanya nak makan di wadihana western islamic dah nak pesan grilled sole with butter rice. Tetiba black out pulak kedai. Freshly made pasta with fresh seafood ( mussel, udang, sotong) dan enough heat to pair with the olive drizzled pasta. Masa tuh rasa cam tak cukup jek.
Kali nih pulak sebab selera dah terbantut cuma pesan chicken chop dengan sos cendawan dan kentang goreng. Ayam tuh di grill tapi untuk saya rasa cam kurang masak need a few more minutes on the grill. T
Hidangan lagi satu spagethi marinara. Sedikit kekecewaan dengan hidangan nih kerana saucenyer terasa sedikit manis. Campur tomato sauce maggi dari botol ker? Nasib baik bahan2 adalah segar boleh lah lagi diterima tekak.
Sepatutnye starter yang dipesan tiba awal sebelum hidangan utama..yg nih crispy softshell crab tiba bila dah setengah jalan baru sampai. Ketam nih digoreng salut spicy dan crispy tepung. Not something that i would order again kot tak kena kat tekak tapi kawan saya kata sedap.

Lempeng Pisang Minum Malam

Dah lama mengidam nak makan lempeng pisang  buatan sendiri sejak rasa makan lempeng pisang kat FoodCourt bandar Baru Nilai hari tuh. Tengahari semalam  berkesempatan beli sesikat pisang berangan ( 2 kilo ) kat Nilai 3, separuh sikat  buat makan kat ofis dan yang separuh lagi bawa balik rumah.

Bahan-Bahan
3 biji pisang -( saya guna pisang berangan-diramas hingga hancur)
2 cawan tepung gandum
3/4 cawan gula perang
1/2 cawan kelapa parut  ( yang putih)
1/2 cawan air
1 sudu teh soda bikarbonat
1 sudu teh garam

Cara2nya :
Campurkan kesemua bahan kecuali air dan gaul rata.masukkan air sedikit demi sediit sambil dibancuh adunan.Rehatkan selama 10 minit.
Panaskan kuali leper dgn api yg sederhana.
Tuangkan sesenduk kecik adunan dan ratakan dlm keadaan membulat( saya punya tak bulat pun freestyle jer).
Biarkan bahagain bawah masak keperangan sebelum diterbalikkan.
Angkat dan hidang beralaskan daun pisang baru old skool.

A cuppa of hot  coffee by the riverside,  serenade by the sound of rushing water and the serenity of the scenery. Tanah Aina served awesome coffee, the real mccoy too. I love it.

relaxing at the  stircase which leads directly into the stream infront of the chalet. However the water is murky since the rain has just stopped. It is not advisable to get into the water after rain since the current can be strong.

we each got 3 pillows..pillow fight anybody?

Finally we got reception up here.  Phone reception is intermittent here. And there is not TV in the room.. If you need your fix of  Tv please bring along your laptop or you can join them at the big hall for movie screening

Infront of Pegaga,,its like living a dream.

its so hard to say goodbye, but I will be back again...

Brown Sugar Apple Cake

I am not much of apple eater, its either i make it into fruit salad or turn it into cakes and bakes. This cake is made using 2 red apples  which i intend to turn into apple pie earlier on. Of course some say that the best baking apple is Granny Smith, the crisp and tart variety of apples abudantly found in many shops., however you can just go with whatever types of apples you have in hand. I have 2 big  Red Fuji apples and that is what i used in the cake and it works just fine. To add moisture  to the cake I incorporated  plain yogurt insteda of the usual milk but it all depends on your preferences.

Brown Sugar Apple Cake

Ingredients

2 apples, (1 peeled, cored, and sliced into thin slices & 1 peeled and chopped into bite-size)
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
11/4 cup packed light-brown sugar
100g raisin
1cup caster sugar
250g butter, softened (Buttercup)
2 cups all-purpose flour,
3 large egg
1 container 135g plain Yogurt ( I used Nestle fat-Free)
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1  teaspoons soda bicarbonate
1 teaspoon  vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 180 degress celcius.Line a 20 inch square pan with baking paper and butter all the sides.
Toss the  sliced apple apples with cinnamon and 1/4 cup brown sugar and arranged  them onto the bottom of the baking pan ( any which way that suits you)

Also tossed the chopped apples with some cinnanom powder and set aside.
Sift the flour with baking power and baking soda into  a bowl. In another bowl cream the butter with brown and castor sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one by one and continue to  beat. Add the vanilla extract.
Using wooden spoon fold in the   flour and yogurt alternately . Toss in the chopped apples and raisin. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 45 minutes or until cake tests done. Let cake cool on a wire rack

The cake taste better if you keep it  to the next day
