Shell Pasta Goreng Pedas

Hankering for something western but with a malay touch...so termasaklah pasta goreng pedas nih..

Spagetthi Sauce

Mince chicken 300g
Sausages 4 pieces
Mixed veggie 1/2 cwn
Maggi perencah spagetthi bolognese 1 bungkus
tomato paste 1 tin kecil ( i used Del Monte)
Bawang besar 1 labu ( dadu halus)
cili merah - mayang halus
Lada mesin 3 sudu besar ( can also used serbuk lada)
italian herbs ( McCormik)
Thyme & basil ( secukup rasa)

* enough pasta of your choice ( I used shell) - cooked to al dente

bawang putih - mayang halus
bawang merah kecik - mayang halus

- Masak the spagethhi sauce to the desire thickness, panaskan minyak tumiskan bawang putih dan bawang merah masukkan pasta sauce tadi then baru masukkan pasata yang direbus. Seasoned with pepper and salt to taste.

Chocolate Almond Muffin





This is for goodies bag for my sister-in-law's kindergarten event in Seremban. They had the annual concert and prize giving cereemony last saturday. being kids, their fave will and always be anything chocolaty and add in some chocolate chips, almonds or any nuts for that crunchy texture.

2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups milk
1 egg
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped almonds
extra almond slices to decorate

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease muffin cups or line with paper muffin liners.
In medium bowl, Sift together flour, cocoa, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In large bowl stir in milk, egg, oil and vanilla. Mix dry ingredients to large bowl; beat well. Add chocolate chips and walnuts, stir well.
Fill muffin cups 3/4 full. Decorate almonds into tops of unbaked muffins. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Bingka Ubi



Kuih tradisional yang masih lagi menjadi kesukaan ramai, kat kampung mak selalu buat jual kat pasar tani ari sabtu.. selalu ambik ubi yang tanam kat belakang umah jer...resepi memang senang tapi part yang paling malas nak parut ubi tuh, kat rumah guna mesin kelapa jer nak parut ubi cepat dan efficient. resepi nih boleh dapat 2 bekas kuih bingka ( yang guna ring mould 9 inch), sedap dan sesuai untuk org yang malas nak kunyah2. Nak make sure bingka dah masak, bila dah berkerak sikit kat atas tuh kira dah boleh angkat ler.Yang nih resepi dari my mother ( old timer)

Resepi Kuih Bingka Ubi
5 cawan ubi parut ( resepi mak ubi parut nih di kisar dan perah buang air dulu baru guna)

6 cawan santan pekat

3 biji telur ayam

2 cawan gula pasir

1 cawan gula merah

secubit garam


1. leserkan loyang dengan minyak masak.

2. Campurkan semua bahan dalam mangkuk dan gaul rata

3. Tuang dalam loyang dan bakar selama 1 jam pada suhu 180 celcius.(sehingga masak)

4. Sejukkan sebelum dipotong




Keledek Rebus (Sweet Potato)


Alkisahnyer, anak buah baru balik dari Cameron Highland, banyak bawak balik keledek kaler oren nih.... teringin tekak sangat nak makan the simplest and tastiest form of keledek...rebus jer.. Hasil nyer..manis dan lemak berkrim. Cam ner nak rebus keledek eks? LU pikirlah sendiri.. :) Sometimes the simplest meal is the most comforting and fulfiling.

A Sweet Source of Good Nutrition

Our food ranking system also showed sweet potato to be a strong performer in terms of traditional nutrients. This root vegetable qualified as an excellent source of vitamin A (in the form of beta-carotene), a very good source of vitamin C and manganese, and a good source of copper, dietary fiber, vitamin B6, potassium and iron. How do these sweet potato nutrients support our health?

An Antioxidant-Rich, Anti-Inflammatory Food

As an excellent source of vitamin A (in the form of beta-carotene) and a very good source of vitamin C, sweet potatoes have healing properties as an antioxidant food. Both beta-carotene and vitamin C are very powerful antioxidants that work in the body to eliminate free radicals. Apam Comel Berinti



Dah lama duk belek-belek resepi lily dari MYR nih...asyik kena shelves jer, the last night jenguk2 dlm fridge ader balance inti kelapa emak buat kuih koci ari tuh, then ader jugak kaya perisa pandan. Check takder plak bekas yang comel2 nak letakkan casing tuh pakai jer lah aper yang ada, so ader yang comel2 ader yang leper jer apam nih. Apa pun, apam nih sgt lembut dan sedap, kalau nak kurang manis boleh kurang kan gula. Food colouring tuh agak tak menyerlah, the reason being my mother nih kalau kuih kaler garang2 sgt dier tak berkenaan nak makan plak. Thumbs up for the recipe. Bahan-bahan ( 15-20 biji )
3 biji telur-dari peti sejuk
275 gm tepung gandum/tpg kek
220 gm gula halus
150gm susu segar/UHT
3 sudu teh baking powder
1 sudu kecil ovallete
Inti Kelapa/kaya ( or anything you desire)

Cara-cara
Masukkan semua bahan apam ke dalam mangkuk.
Pukul dgn menggunakan mixer pada kelajuan maxima selama 6-8 min.
bahagikan kepada beberapa mangkuk & titiskan pewarna mengikut citarasa.
masukkan setiap warna ke dalam piping bag ( atau beg plastik yg bersih)(pakai sudu teh jer pu..:))
Pipe kan sedikit adunan ke dalam mangkuk kertas yg telah disusun didalam acuan.
masukkan inti kelapa
Pipekan lagi adunan yg berlainan warna sehingga 3/4 penuh.
Kukus didalam kukusan yg telah dipanaskan selama 10-15 min.

Plain Vanilla Cupcakes with Buttercream Frosting

Punyalah panjang nyer nama resepi walhal simple jer resepi kan, yang biasa-biasa jer letak buttercream bagi penyeri. Nih pun utk anak kawan kat opis untuk birthday dier. Hiasan pun tak canggih sebab den baru jer belajar hal ehwal buat buttercream dan guna piping bag ni, masih kerastangan laei lerr..




Recipe was adapted from Joyof Baking website. The recipe is not too sweet to complement the sweetness of the buttercream frosting.

Vanilla Cupcakes:

1/2 cup (113 grams) unsalted butter, room temperature

2/3 cup (130 grams) granulated white sugar

3 large eggs

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Zest of 1 large lemon (optional)

1 1/2 cups (210 grams) all purpose flour

1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup (60 ml) milk

Enough Buttercream Frosting to frost.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (177 degrees C) and lightly butter or line 12 muffin cups with paper liners.

For the Cupcakes: Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in the vanilla extract and lemon zest.

In a separate bowl whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

With the mixer on low speed, alternately add the flour mixture and milk, in three additions, beginning and ending with the flour. Scrape down the sides of the bowl.



Evenly fill the muffin cups with the batter and bake for about 18-20 minutes or until nicely browned and a toothpick inserted into a cupcake comes out clean. Remove from oven and place on a wire rack to cool

Marbled Brownies




Sempena mengahbiskan stock cream cheese di dlm fridge, dah berape kali creamcheese tuh keluar masuk peti baru lah jadik akhirnya. Ras nyer sugguh excellent, kalau nak letak topping fudge pun ok, but i prefer it plain as it is..heavenly... with a cup of strong black coffee.
Marbled Brownies
Adapted from Simple Home Baking (carole clements)
Adunan coklat
225g coklat masakan
65g butter
4 biji telur
300g gula kastor
140g tepung gandum
½ sudu teh garam
1 sd teh serbuk penaik
2 sd teh esen vanilla
115g walnut, disanggai dan dicincang
Adunan Cream cheese
55g butter
170g cream cheese
100g gula halus
2 biji telur
30g tepung gandum
1 sudu teh esen vanilla
1. Panaskan oven ke 180c. Gris dan alaskan baking dish berukuran 13 x 9in.
2. Cairkan coklat masakan dan butter secara double boil, dan sejukkan.
3. Pukul 4 biji telur sehinga kembang, masukkan 300g gula sedikit demi sedikit sehingga sebati. Ayakkan 140g tepung, garam dan serbuk penaik ke dalam adunan dan gaul rata.
4. Tuangkan coklat yang dicairkan ke dalam adunan, masukkan esen vanilla dan kacang walnut. Asingkan 450ml dari adunan ini.
5. Untuk aduanan cream cheese, pukul cream cheese dan butter sehinggga berkrim.Masukkan gula, telur, tepung dan esen vanilla. Gaul mesra.
6. Tuang adunan coklat kedalam baking dish,tuangkan adunan cream cheese sebagai lapisan kedua. Gunakan sudu dan sudukan baki adunan coklat secra bertompok ke atas lapisan cream chese. Buat corak swirl dgn palette knife beberape kali.
7. Bakar selama 40-45 minit dan sejukkan sebelum dipotong.

Biskut Tart Nenas




Buat lagi tart nih walaupun raya dah abis, untuk open house rumah my sister minggu lepas. tak rajin nak gulung-gulung so buat open face tart jer, jem pun beli jem nenas dari YUMMY, janji sodap. Resepi pun cut and paste jer dari FP Maklang, simple and easy

Tat Nenas


Bahan-bahannya
500 gram mentega
100 gram gula aising
3 biji telur (3 putih dan 2 kuning)
70 gram susu tepung
750 gram tepung gandum (biasenye ikut lembut supaya mudah ditekan)
1 sudu teh esen vanila
Jam nenas secukup nya

Cara-caranya
1. Satukan mentega dan gula aising, kacau sekejap. Tak yah nak buat creamy method cam kek tu.
2. Masukkan telur, kacau sebati dan masukkan esen vanilla.
3. Kemudian masukkan tepung susu dan tepung gandum. Uli perlahan-perlahan kalau rasa adunan melekit di jari, tambah tepung sikit demi sedikit. Semasa masukkan tepung jangan masukkan semua sekali, masuk sikit demi sedikit supaya adunan tidak terkeras. Sepatutnya adunan tu agak lembut (tak lembik). Then terap jer guna acuan tart yang sesuai
4. Letak inti . Bakar sampai masak dan kekuningan.

Black Bottom Cupcake




Percubaan yang tak berape menjadi hahahaha.. tengoklah gambarnya sungguh tak lawa jadinyer black bottom kenaper ntah terlampau penuh isi kot so melimpah ruah dari casing tuh, cream cheese nyer plak sikit sangat.Tensen betul walaupun sedap tapi rupa dan kureng nih. TApi bawak pergi opis semua telan kata sedap..taraaaaaaaaaaaaaa... so penyelesaiannyer kalau tak abis kat rumah bawak lah dtg opis, semua boleh dihabiskan sekelip mata pun.Seperti biasa resepi nih cilok dari ALLRECIPES.COM.where it got a raved reviews.


250g cream cheese, softened
1 egg
1/3 cup white sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips (tak letak pun nih sebab dah cukup coklat)1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup white sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup water ( saya tukar ngan 1 cup fresh milk)
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoon cider vinegar (cuka makan pun tak per)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract


DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line muffin tins with paper cups or lightly spray with non-stick cooking spray.
In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese, egg, 1/3 cup sugar and 1/8 teaspoon salt until light and fluffy. Stir in the chocolate chips and set aside.
In a large bowl, mix together the flour, 1 cup sugar, cocoa, baking soda and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Make a well in the center and add the water, oil, vinegar and vanilla. Stir together until well blended. Fill muffin tins 1/3 full with the batter and top with a dollop of the cream cheese mixture.
Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, do not over bake.
